Miyuki Koshiki (古式 みゆき Koshiki Miyuki) is a good friend of Kengo Miyazawa.

Appearance[]

Miyuki has thigh-length dark lavender hair that has square bangs covering her forehead with hair strands framing her face on both side, golden eyes and a white eyepatch on her right eye from an archery accident.

She wears the standard girls' uniform.

Biography[]

Miyuki comes from a famous archer family and a good friend of Kengo Miyazawa. She was very talented and serious about archery. However, due to a disease, she lost one of her eyes, making her unable to continue practicing archery. This left her very depressed. In the first timeline of the real world, she committed suicide, for which Kengo blames himself because he thinks he didn't support her enough. In the artificial world, Kengo saves her by jumping after her and covering her when she jumps off the roof of the school. Because of this, Kengo becomes injured. Unable to participate in the kendo tournament, he joins the baseball team of the rest of the Little Busters. It is unknown, however, if Kengo saved her in the second real timeline created by Riki, but the artificial world replayed after Komari's route states "Koshiki-san wasn't harmed", which leads to the obvious conclusion that Miyuki is alive.

Etymology[]

  • The name Miyuki is written in hiragana (みゆき), which has no special meaning. However, when part of the name Yuki (ゆき) is written in kanji (幸, 雪, 由貴 or 由紀), it could possibly mean:
    • 幸 - "happiness, good luck".
    • 雪 - "snow".
    • 由貴 - "reason, case, cause" (由) (yu) and "valuable" (貴) (ki).
    • 由紀 - "reason, case, cause" (由) (yu) and "chronicle" (紀) (ki).
  • Miyuki's surname Koshiki means "ancient rite, old style" (古式).
    • It can also mean "old, antiquity, ancient time, used, secondhand" (古) (ko) and "formula, ceremony" (式) (shiki) separately.
